UPDATE (Sept. 1): As of today, we have raised $1,905 from 31 contributors for Marta & Lech’s legal defence fund.
But people like charts and graphs and visual representations of contributions. So we’ve put together a Chipin widget:
Unfortunately, we cannot add the amount that we’ve already received, so we’ve set a goal of $1,095 for the chipin, for a total of $3,000, by our court date, September 28.
We appreciate any help you can give us as we try to deal with the zoning complaint by the Municipality. You can use paypal to send us a contribution which will be used to fund our legal expenses.

These days of you want to reach a lot of proactive people FAST and mobilize them to help you reach a common goal, you need to have your voice heard -and responded to- by as many as possible AND within a very short period of time… My suggestion: set up a Facebook page for rapid networking, donations to a defense fund and multi-level support in the form of letter-writing to a vast number of news publications across the country AND elected officials on all three levels of government (municipal, provincial and federal).
